Hi Guys,

I've had this same problem on 2 different servers this week.

When I install a SSL cert, apache does not restart even after a reboot.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

probably a bad httpd config.

Can you paste the error_log ?

perhaps something usefull there.

did you try to rebuild apache? sounds like mod_ssl is having big problems.
EWD
Yes that is how I was able to get it back up... by rebuilding it.

I still would like to know how to stop this... it happened on 3 boxes this week

Thanks for the reply icon_wink.gif
