So I upgraded perl from 5.8.0 to 5.8.6 and now exim won't start up. I get this error when I try to start it up:

#service exim start
Starting exim: /usr/sbin/exim: error while loading shared libraries: libperl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


Any idea what to do?? Thanks
(I am using DirectAdmin on a RHE3)

I am not sure how DA works but sounds like you need to reinstall exim, that would normally work with cPanel.
