Hello,

I am using Plesk CP ver. 7.5.1 (windows 2003 server)

the installation made by SW SOFT (Pro. installation)

I would like to update the software to version 7.5.2

first of all tell me please , do you recomend me to update it at all ?

and secondly , how to make the update ?

just to download the file and then to execute the update file ?

is there something else which needed to be done before ?

I need to stop any process ?

thanks for all who help.

How did you get your Plesk 7.5 on Windows at the first place? I started to have my hosting with EV1 since a week ago, and my server is alwasy installed Plesk 7.0, when I asked for 7.5, I was told by Tech Support 7.5 is not supported.

Is this true or some bull?

I believe what you need to do is install the upgrade and then request the license key (it should be in the members area, services, add service). Make sure you read the requirements for 7.5.2 first - it needs 2003 SP1.

That's exactly what I did, to request a upgrade from member area server upgarde section. All I need is the key, but got a reply saying Plesk 7.5 is not support on Windows currently by EV1.

Dear Customer,
This upgrade is for the license only. Please resumit this upgrade once the control panel has been updated to Plesk 7.5.

Dear Customer,
Please go to the Plesk website for more information on upgrading the control panel to 7.5. At this time we only offer Plesk 7 for Windows systems.

This is what I have:

** You are now speaking with Rick M, Tech Support. **

[21:35:38] Rick M : Hello He, how may I assist you today?
[21:35:52] He : Hi, I want to upgrade to Plesk 7.5
[21:36:07] He : last time I requested, I was told it's not supported here
[21:36:11] He : for windows 2003
[21:36:23] He : is it still true?
[21:37:52] Rick M : Yes, I beleive it is.
[21:38:20] He : Please read this, http://forum.ev1servers.net/showthread.php...349176#poststop
[21:42:35] Rick M : There seems to be some confusion on this issue, but as far as I know it has not been made availble for Windows servers only Linux.
[21:43:06] He : then how come that guy claims he's had windows 7.51?
[21:43:14] He : Plesk 7.51 for windows I mean
[21:43:33] Rick M : I do not know.
[21:43:37] He : do you mean he doesn't know what he's talking about?
[21:44:33] Rick M : I'm simply saying that as far as I know , it is not availble for WIndows yet.

I'll try to find a customer service on Monday.
