Full Version: pkgacct killing my cpu

I have three versions of "pkgacct" that are killing my cpu, one has been at it over seven hours at 100%...

I know EV1 has been having network issues today and "pkgacct" seems related to my daily FTP backup. I'm wondering if it just got hung. Can I safely just kill it and let backup return tomorrow?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can kill it. Just use signal 15.

Thanks Exo... icon_smile.gif

UPDATE: Killed with 15...

The rest of backup appears to be proceeding, as gzip and tar are busy... but 50% cpu is now free... Thanks for your help...
