Hi, has anyone ever had their DNS just stop working? ns1.mydomain is fine but ns2 cannot even be pinged now from my local box nor any ofo my servers themselves. I can no longer add subdomains yet I can add normal domains. This one has me well and truly stumped. I am having to use the providers DNS just to keep things resolving. I know I need to give more details but -
/etc/nameserverips
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/wwwacct.conf
/etc/sysconfig/network
/etc/hosts
/etc/ipaddrpool
/etc/named.conf
all read the same as another server I had which is working fine. Are there any other relevant files I need to look at? Any help would be much appreciated as I have a backlog of subdomains to add and it is getting desperate. Thanks.
