Hi all,

I just recently became a customer of EV1 servers and I must say I am very impressed by the whole experience and the hi level of tech support they offer... this is a great system they have here...BUT I havent been v lucky with the machine i have been allocated since day 1 and its full of problems.

I have chosen a P4 2.6Ghz, 1Gig ram, 2x 80Gig - Windows 2003 Web edition + Plesk

Basically it crashes (reboots) when ever it wants to and has a lot of errors in the event manager plus sometimes unpredictably the Perl service uses up 100% of the CPU. This is before i even run anything of my own on the machine...

Tech support looked into it and found out there was a corrupt image of the OS and changed things BUT still, similar things are happening and they are looking into it again to see what could be the problem...

All in all, I am growing tired of this as I cant get any work done mad.gif .

So, am I the only one who is having this type of experience when they first get a server with EV1server.net?

I would like to know your stories as it can help me to either continue being a customer with EV1servers.net or pack it in and find some other solution!

Thanks for your comments

My experiences are the best with EV1. I started my hosting company while I was still in High School, and since then with the help of EV1, and I truly believe if I were with anyone but EV1, I would not be where I am now. I have built a pretty solid hosting company and now rely on the great service of EV1 for every bit of my operations.

We have grown big time directly because of EV1.

EV1 has been very helpful in every situation that has arisen. We have not had any major problems, or that I remember mostly because of the way EV1 handled them in every situation made me totally forget about them!

Nothing but A+ service!

Mario, Patrick, Aaron and Isabel all work very diligently! Including the attention of Headsurfer on some issues. (Hope I didn't forget anyone)
