into which folder/location I should install zend optimizer ???

Zend copies the /etc/php.ini file to it's own dir and creates a simlink to the file. So, when you are running the script and it asks for the path to the php.ini change it from the default /Zend/.... to /etc/php.ini and the script will run just fine.
