just got my first plesk box. i'm still getting to know the panel. at first glance, it appears that only postgresql is available. how do i get to mysql? it doesn't look there is anything in their to help manage a mysql database. not even phpMyAdmin

thanks

its actually in the domain level panel. mysql is enabled by default.
Tex
as he said it is in the domain level
click on a domain then click databases
click add new db
and you can chose which on you
want to use and once you create an mysql
one you can admin using phpmyadmin
by clicking on the dbwebadmin button
mr_dizzle

I'd recommend you download plesk manual from sw-soft.com

regards
Tex
because it is not in the domain section,
it is under the actual domain name

top left under clients click domains,
then you should see your domains listed

if you have not created a client and a domain
you will not be able to manage a database for
a client or domain that does not exist

if you have a client and a domain created
click on it and brings up a new page
under the services listing you will see the
database icon click on it to add database

if the database icon is whited out then that is another
issue
