first sorry my english !

I have a giant website called VIDEOLOG.TV.. and i have 45.000 users in 2 months online...

It look's like fotolog style, but i am having a problem, looks like linux can't have more than 40.000 folders in the same folder...

Ex.: www.videolog.tv/felipevidal (/home/videolog/www/felipevidal/)

All users have their own folder inside /www

i am needing some help how to increase this limit or redirect to another folder...

Example.. the user digit this: www.videolog.tv/felipe and i want a redirect to: www.videolog.tv/videolog/vdl_index.php?user=felipevidal

the folder "felipe" doesn't need to exist, just redirect... i need some help !!!

Maybe the apache rewrite module can be usefull here ?

anybody have any sugestions ?
