I've modified one domain's awstats config file in:

/home/domain/tmp/awstats/awstats.domain.conf

each morning whm/cpanel overrites it with a new copy, and my modifications are gone...

how can I stop this from happening for just this one domain?

a sure way that will work is to chmod 444 the file.
