Just got access to a a new and fresh installed server with Suse 9.1 and Plesk 7.5.
Everything works fine, except for the fact that suexec is not enabled ?!
If I upload scripts via FTP they get the expected user/group perms of the FTP user.
Running scripts under Apache they run with the user/group perms of Apache.
I've checked all forums I can think of, but I've no clue at all.

simply bad programming of the script you use..
The script save the file whit user apache:apache, you cannot delete etc.. those file via ftp because its not on your username and that will make the psabackup crashing everytime he hit those kind of file
