I am trying to find out if my new cpanel box contains the second hard drive. I don't see it anywhere in whm.

Also is there somewhere to check out processor speeds, amount of installed ram, etc.?

thanks,

In WHM under Server Information
warren0728
This is what is listed under "Physical Drives"
hda: GCR-8483B, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive

And under "Current Disk Usage"
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 72G 2.8G 65G 5% /
/dev/sda1 99M 15M 80M 16% /boot
none 498M 0 498M 0% /dev/shm

I should have 2 80 gig drives

under "Main >> Disk Drives >> Format/Mount a new Hard Drive" two drives show up: hda and sdb. If sdb is my 2nd drive should i just choose "partition, Format and Mount Disk" to format and name it?

thanks,

anyone?

sdb is a scsi drive, something sounds a little wierd. In ssh do fdisk -l to get a true reading of what you have.

when i try to run fdisk -l i get the following message.

bash: fdisk: command not found

I got a similar message when trying to use lilo earlier.

bash: lilo: command not found

any ideas?

su -

icon_smile.gif standard su does not load the root paths which have the special binaries root needs.
