I recieved the following email yesterday

The hostname (cpanel.ev1servers.net) resolves to . It should resolve to 67.15.120.37. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager

I did the A entry thing and received the same entry again today. DOes anyone know how I might fix this through Cpanel?

Thanks.

pico /resolv.conf and make sure that is correct

and pico /etc/hosts and make sure that is correct

your host name should be yourhostname.yourdomain.com

Yes. Do I need to add that hostname to the Ev1 DNS? The main url is already on there.

hostname.mydomain.net - mydomain.net already exists on the EV1 dns server.
