Hi !

I have disabled SPAMD and SPAMASSASSIN in WHM but still receiving SPAMD FAILED emails every 5 minutes. How can i remove that messages.

Anybody have a clue - this started last night and is killing my inbox:confused:

In WHM goto install perl module. Install the modules

Digest::SHA1
and
Mail::SpamAssassin::NoMailAudit

Now reinstall spamd. I would suggest using this http://www.cpanelappz.com/exiscan+clam+exi...m-installer.htm . It is a clamscanner (antivirus) and spam protection.


Then restart everything:
service exim restart


I was having trouble using the latest edge but the above fixed it. See if the above works for you

Try removing the spamd file from
/etc/chkserv.d

The restart the chkserv service

Type on ssh:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/chkserv restart

It should work.
