Quick question...

If I buy a CPanel server, does it automatically come with fantastico or do I need to install it myself.

If it comes with fantastico, which version does it come with and if it doesn't come with the latest which offers the 40 or so software packages, how do you get them. is there a charge for that?

It comes with an older version which you can upgrade to in your cPanel.

Any idea why EV1 doesn't have the newer version installed as standard?

Also, if you have to upgrade to the new version, is there a charge for this and does it get you the latest verison of Fantastico so you can use it?

It would require updating their standard install image which could potentially create conflicts with other software, and take a good amount of time and testing.

There is no charge to upgrade to the newest version.
