hey Gary,

Oops ... I did it again 8-)

k ... you can do that from the Mailenable manager ... it should in the c:program filesswsoftplesk ... and in there there should be a folder for MailEnable ..(can't recall the name) .. inside it there should be .msc file for the mailenable manager... OPEN it.
In the mailenable manager expand the nodes and find the SMTP connector ... right click on it and there in the properties you should be able to see the name of the computer i.e "plesk7.ev1servers.net" .. CHANGE it :-)

and restart all the Mailenable services from the same interface...

I saw a link once that had directions on logging into the plesk database and changing it in there. But i cannot find it again.

hi,

I can't recall the exact column name or field name in the plesk database. But you can find it out by browsing the database table for sure :-)
Download and install mysql client tool like Mysql control center ...
Then connect to mysql with the user name of 'admin' and pass same as that of for plesk admin. Then select 'psa' database ... there should be a table by name of "Notifications"..

It's in the misc table.

You will also need to manually update several files in the /dns directory.
