Hello,

Pages sent out by Majordomo after a user subscribes for instance, contain lines like, "... to contact a human send a message to owner-listname@www.domainname.com" Except it spells out the listname and the domain name for the specific list and account the list is on.

So far, fine and dandy,,, except if you try to actually send email to this address it never goes to the owner-list of that account. Instead it is bounced to the main address of the host on that server. Yet when the host account owner / list owner tryes to set up such an email, or even an alias in his account (i.e. owner-listname), the system boots the attempt saying there is already an address with this name, etc.

So the system thinks owner-listname@www.domainname.com is a real address, except it passes it along to the host provider,,,, yours truly.

I have been through all the set up configs I can find, but still no luck as to determining what the problem might be.

Anyone know about this one?
