We have a client wants to relay mail through a linux plesk server from his windows boxes. We have setup tcp-wrappers for psa_smtp to allow relaying but are having intermittent connection issues.

There is an odd condition where the emails will fail on the first attempt and then works on the second attempt. The plesk box will then relay email for a while and then stop again.

Any info on this would be appreciated. The plesk server is 7.0.x on linux. The windows is running an ASP component that uses the SMTP on the plesk box.
