I had a weird problem. Site uses mysql heavily and I installed and enabled turck mmcache. Performance got better but members started to complain! When using the site from Internet Cafe's, old pages appear instead of fresh, dynamic pages!

That's is, if you login under your username: member1, some pages will load with the username of someone who used the PC before you (and logged off of course)!

I had to disable it and members are happy now!

Did anyone else face this problem? Are there certain settings to use with mmcache?

Hmm...hard to say whether this is an issue with mmcache. I use mmcache, and I find that it works great. I have noticed, however, that some dynamic pages behind some proxy configurations are unreliable. Making sure to send out the proper headers in your scripts helps a lot...although proxies are of course not acknowledge them.

I wonder, though, whether this was really an issue on your side. Are you absolutely positive that the problem started happening when you started using mmcache? And you're sure it went away when you stopped using mmcache? Did you do any special configuration of mmcache or just use the defaults?

Absolutely. I started to receive complaints the day after I installed mmcache. After trying many things and blaminng members themselves icon_smile.gif, I tried to disable mmcache and the next day I received messages from them saying everything became fine.

And yes, I think they are behined proxy.
