After getting EV1 Server, before proceeding to configuring your site, you need to update all packages to newest one, including Plesk.

Then, you need to ask for additional IP from EV1 for your server. After receiving it, you need to configure you server with new IP.

Then you need to register your name servers to your IPs and then you need to re-delegate at DNS registrar new Name Servers for you domain.

Also, it is good thing to additionaly re-configure DNS template settings on Plesk Server pages.

And, make firewall as step number 0. icon_smile.gif

Good luck

And once you've got Plesk upgraded don't forget to check under Server > Mail to make sure they're not still shipping it with 127.0.0.1/8 Whitelisted. It needs to be 127.0.0.1/32, as the former will leave you sitting there with an Open Relay that the spammers will find in no time at all.

There used to be a thread around here somewhere outlining the first things to do with a server. Everything in it would still apply, only the version numbers will have changed since it's a bit dated at this point.
