Hi,
i've tried several times to optimize MySQL, but as i see many variables are relationed with mysql and MEM usage.
Which configuration should i use to make MySQL use less of my CPU?
I'm asking this because 40 to 60 of my RAM is free... but my cpu is overloaded by MySQL ( i have one big site that use it everytime... )
Thankz.

maybe you should post contents of your my.cnf file it will help to make minor tweaks, also is your apache optimized?
I am not sure about the amount of traffic/mysql quesries you get, but adding some memory to the server can lower the load.

There is no one config that fits every server, if there was ev1 would distribute it with the servers. Every case is different, if you do a search there are a few threads on how to make a good my.cnf.
