Full Version: Email Forwarding

OK, I have about 10 domains and have one email address (catch all account) per domain. I normally forward these into ONE email account.

The problem is that when an email is forwarded, it stays in that mailbox until you can login and delete it.

Is there an easy way to collect all email from a domain and forward it to a domain and also remove it from the mailbox?

Like I said, I use the cPanel "Forwarder", maybe the "Add Filter" option would do this somehow? Or maybe there is another solution?

Did this ever get answered?

I have email forwarded, but it also stagnates in the inboxes.

The answer is to not create an email account.

You can have a forwarder and/or an account, but both are not needed at the same time.

One problem that I have not solved is getting email to forward out from a fully qualified domain name. (The main server domain has to have a host name.)

ie: soandso@domain.com will forward out OK, but soandso@mail.domain.com stays in the /home/domain/mail/inbox
