I have some users who cannot get to non-default ports (ie, other than 80 and 443) from their office systems due to corporate firewalls. Is there a way to configure the web based email features in Cpanel to run on Port 80 instead of the non-default ports they are initially set to run on?

No, at least till now.

Posible solutions are use of cpanelproxy, or install your own horde or squirrelmail in an available domain.

Problems with cpanelproxy: not all options works.
Problems with your own webmail: you have access only to webmail, not to mail options (change user password, boxtrapper, spamassassin..)

I use cpanelproxy and think it will suffice.

I do everything like to how-to with copy and paste and when i try to access the address webmail.uphost.com.br i'm receive the error:
