Seems they've come a long way. I believe the WSB (Web Scorpion Brothers) are looking into Plesk.

Ditto. Could be a contender!

I admire your restraint (your Ensim "forumula") in another thread.

I think that if you use ensim, PLESK is an upgrade... but you should really look at cPanel closely. I am about to move from PLESK to cPanel despite the recent PLESK upgrades.
The bottom line is that if you have any server admin experience, cPanel is much more flexible. If you need your control panel to "do it all" then PLESK is a pretty nice product.

Left Cpanel about a year ago for good...using Plesk 6.
No more customers complaining of lost email since!!
Never have I seen an error or problem with the panel, but it does require a little tweaking to get it right (Plesk 6 anyway).
When I colo I will be using either Plesk 7 or Direct Admin, wouldn't even consider cpanel again.

Plesk isn't bad. I can't compare since I haven't used other control panels. However here are my main two problems I have with plesk:
1. Inability to assign multiple domains to a single ssh/ftp account.
2. qmail isn't optimized for a large userbase. I was working on a Plesk 7 server hosting 250 domains and about 7,000 email accounts. Three of the domains were hit with a dictionary spam attack which nearly took out the server all together. Don't get me wrong, qmail is a great mail server when PROPERLY patched and configured. Out of the box it accepts all mail, regardless of an existing mail account. A dictionary attack left us with over 100,000 email in the queue. This could have been prevented if qmail had some standard patches applied. None of which i can do because Plesk hacks their version all up and redistributes it. I guess I'm just a sendmail guy at heart.
3. Plesk tries to nickel and dime you for every little feature.

I think you own stock in H-Sphere.. you push that like you won it. Personally.. I think psoft products are trash.
