Alguien puede ayudarme, :confused:

Este load es de tan solo un web site y miren cual tal alto es, este web site es un search engine y por lo que se ve usa bastante "Mysql" la mayor parte del dia se mantiene asi solo a bajado a 8 y de ahi se sube hasta 28.
Alguno de ustedes tiene algun consejo que hacerme.

Si no tienes ya instalado Mysql 4 instalalo.

Si ya lo tienes instalado optimizalo desde el archivo /etc/my.cnf usando la informacion que se ha expuesto en estos foros sobre optimizacion de mysql.

Si samasa, te recomiendo que pongas mysql 4 y la optimizes existe abundante documentacion en el sitio web de mysql por no mencionar la existente en este foro. Salu2

Gracias por sus consejos creo que lo voy a actuliazar, otra pregunta aprovechando de su tiempo en el actula MYsql tengo esta configuracion ....esta mal ?

no se trata que esté "mal" o esté bien, sino que te vaya bien.

Con 2 GB de ram ya puedes meterle caña ya, pero 600 conexiones simultaneas al MySQL son muchas.....

El ejemplo te va de perlas.

lo mejor sería que cambiaras la forma del buscador, ya que un buscador con mysql es un poco burrada, yo te recomendaría ficheros de texto tal cual.

Esta mañana el servidor ya empezo a usar la cuarta parte de el swap...este load sube mas a cada rato..

Los pasos a seguir son:

1. Instala MySQL 4 y activa el caché
2. Mas memoria al menos 4GB

Nota:

Tienes la configuración por defecto de MySQL deberías optimizarla, leete el manual.

Bueno segui sus consejos, actualise a mysql 4, el "load" sigue igual sube hasta 40 y baja hasta 10 en tan solo unos minutos, tal vez nesesite una buena configuracion, ahora my pregunta es si mi configuracion esta bien hecha o nesecito hacer algunos cambios :
