Could someone please explain to me how one would interpret the CPU utilization / server load? I'm not sure what it means to be 0.25 utilized, or 1.06 utilized.
It tends to be below 1.00, but I'm wondering what this all means.
Thanks,
Carson

Load averages are a very weird thing, they take into account all sorts of differnt things. Basically the load average should be below the number of cpu's that you have. Dual processing computers with 2 physical cpu's have a total of 4 virtual cpu's due to hyperthreading. So loads below 1 is a good thing.
If you want more information do a search on google....there is lots of information.
