I have one of the New 3.06 MHZ Processor, Dual 120 Gig IDE HD, RHE/ 3.7 Ensim Pro. How to use second Drive for Backup and Mysql

There is a howto in the howto forum (under General Support) for storing mysql on a different HDD.

It's easy and works with RHEL ofcourse

I wish it did, but.. it doesn't work on Ensim pro..

First off follow the below howto to format and mount the drive.

Then the below to backup files to it

I did the first step and it works flawlessly- just make no typos!! heh

I am personally when time allows gonna start the stage two which is rsyncing the files to the backup drive.

BTW i would sugest to run the distributed.net client on it to burn out tegh machine before making it a production server (its just force of habit for me- to test everythign to death)
