ClamAV 0.71 has been released to fix a bunch of bugs.

Remember to stop sendmail if you have it plugged in with the milter.

ClamAV 0.72 is the newest version and i installed it of course

but how do you enable e-mail scanning? because i still get virus mails

Easiest way is to use mailscanner to process mails with clamav. Search the forum here for mailscanner. I believe the newest exim can also do the job directly with less load, but I've been using mailscanner for a long time and see no reason to change.

I plugged clamav directly into sendmail and took mailscanner out.. overall it results in less cpu load due to mailscanner.
