I am new at the whole server thing, and hence may be a little slow. Take it easy on me.

On my dedicated server I am hosting two websites. Both load just fine. I added another website the other day using Plesk and followed the exact same directions I used when setting up the other two. I pointed the name servers at the new domain almost a week ago. I assumed everything was setup. Oddly enough, this site doesn't work. I get a DNS error. (cannot find server error.)

I've been trying to find out what could be causing this over the last two days, and now present you with one quick and hopefully easy question:

Am I to assume that when setting up a domain you must also configure it in your Rack Shack members area? I thought everything was done in Plesk. The other two (working) sites are listed in the members section of my Rack account. Apparently I have to add the new site in there as well? Once I add the new site in there, do I have to delete what I created in Plesk and recreate it again? I hope not, because I uploaded about a gig of info and having to upload it again wouldn't be fun.

Assuming you're using ns1.rackshack.net and ns2.rackshack.net, then yes, it has to be submitted to RackShack to setup their DNS to handle the new domain. Once that's been done (and has time to propagate), it should start working without any other changes.
