From my previous host i had to go into every single clients cpanel and do the backup tool in there.

How do i reupload these? i cannot find a way to FTP in at root using my WS_FTP.

sftp is the one that should be used for root

ftp carries passwords in plain form, that's not secure, besides ftp is configured with disabled access for root as default, since that's the kind of thing you're not supposed to do

look into winscp (sftp/scp client for windows)

ok i downloaded it, put in my server IP, but it still wont let me logon to root, i disabled direct root login through SSH, is that anything to do with it?
