Well, the error above says it all... The server you're trying to send e-mail to wants to check your reverse DNS. Since your rDNS is not set up, the IP of your server is not resolving back to your domain.
Because of that, the other server assumes your domain is bogus and as an anti-spam precaution, won't accept your mail. It's rare, but some servers are still configured this way...
To clarify, if you haven't stumbled on this before:
DNS works like this: domain points to an IP
reverse DNS: IP points back to the same domain
You should contact Rackshack support and ask them to set up your rDNS, since you can't do it yourself. I see no reason why they wouldn't want to do that...

Is this not right then. The ptr is the reverse lookup
. NS ns2. xxxxxxxxx. net.
. NS ns. xxxxxxxxxxx. com.
. A
ns. . A
webmail. . A
ftp. . CNAME .
mail. . CNAME .
*. . CNAME .
. MX 10 mail. .
/24 PTR .

It's ok... Plesk does have a PTR record set up by default, but it doesn't do anything in this case. For a PTR to actually work, Rackshack should allow you to manage your own reverse DNS, which, AFAIK, they don't....

If you submit a trouble ticket, RS will setup reverse DNS for you on their servers (just include your IP and what you want it to reverse to).

I changed the ptr to my server name for all my IPs but still no go.
This is rackshacks responce before they closed the ticket.
Dear Customer,
The problem actually lies within Yahoo and Excite (owned by the same company, InfoSpace, Inc) they would need to allow the PTR records for our DNS.
I am at this point still in need of help.

To tell you the truth, this reply from Rackshack support seems mighty odd to me. The InfoSpace should allow what?!
I don't know what are they talking about and I'm not sure they do
Well, I've just sent a test message to my Yahoo account, from a Rackshack server we have. No problems whatsoever... it would surprise me if yahoo mail servers were set up to check rDNS... it seems this is an isolated problem, perhaps with just one excite server...

Thank you all
I managed to get it to work I had to create a domain in the name of my server so if the do a reverse dns the ip goes to the actual server name. Seemed to work.
Now I have a better one below:
One more problem to go. A client is using a tellafriend cgi script and it works except for AOL. There are no errors in the logs and I do not get a bounce back. I talked to AOL and they are checking if my server is blacklisted. Has anyone run into this with AOL.
