Full Version: Up2date Removes the old kernel

I have a weird problem with up2date,it seems to be removing my old kernel every time i update my system using it,does any one have any clue what is the problem with up2date config?

also,whenever it updates the kernel,it posts an error that "grubby couldnt find a suitable template" and i have to update grub.conf manually... anyone have any idea how fix that?

Save the existing lilo.conf

cp /etc/lilo.conf /etc/lilo.conf.old

rpm -ivh the-actual-kernel-rpm-file-name



Edit /etc/lilo.conf manually
