I'm running a cpanel box that I upgraded a while ago from 7.x to 9. I believe RH9 will die out soon as well too. Will there be an upgrade path to RHEL? Or will I be screwed?
Since RHEL needs purchasing and licensing, I'd assume there will need to be some Ev1servers administrative involvement?

Yea you need a restore, they have a few upgrade paths but not sure if they offer them anymore. If not you can just get a restore and then have them mount the old drive in the box like a normal restore. All new rh boxes some with RHEL.

Legacy will be supporting RH9 for at least 1.5 years after the official EOL. I'd stick with RH9 for a while.

Just a question, what bad things can happend if i want to stay with RH9 beside of not getting anymore updates?

There are going ot be updates for a little over a year and a half.
