The company i work for has bought a new server, the users and there websites need to be moved to the new server?
What is the best way to do this?
Sincerely yours,

search the threads, most common keywords: possible new client, new customer
along those lines, ive typed up a step by step covering most issues.. I will also be creating a how-to styep by step one day soon when I get the time, but for now there is a thread or 2 which covers it.. Mouse

It depends, from what kind of server to what kind of server do you want to move?
If it is from one Raq to another Raq, you could use the Cobalt Migration Utility (CMU), it exports (cmuExport) and imports (cmuImport) sites and users.

thnx for you support everybody, i'll just stick with the CMU.
I need to migrate between two Raq 4's , does that work?
the cmu document says it does not work for qube 2 to qube 2, does that also apply on raq 4 to raq 4 ?

Wouter

In fact you might use raqbackup.sh...which will backup sites, DNS and MySQL databases in one fell swoop...
I have done restores using this on RAQ4's successfully. One note that aliases don't transfer for some reason. So I would make a copy of your virtusertable file for reference...in fact I would probably just tar up the entire /etc directory for "just in case..."
