So I usually stay Stable but have been wondering about upgrading to the Release. Any thoughts?

It's fine using RELEASE tree. No major bugs. If there are any bugs they are fixed quickly and you won't have time to notices them. RELEASEs are posted few times every week. Just try it to see...

Latest 2 RELEASES fix a security bug in PhpMyAdmin (Security fix: possible attack against export.php) and few other things. There are EDGE build for everything new and testing...

I use the Release Tree too, except when releases are being quickly released again. (Like this week, as they build up to a Stable version.)

Generally, I wait to see what issues are posted here and at Cpanel.net before upgrading to a newer Release, just in case.

anyone running latest STABLE with RHE 3.0?

We normally run Release and have been forced to do a couple of the upgrades this week. There have been two stable releases put out in the last 8 hours it seems. This new one is the one to go with I believe. This is the first stable release out since Oct 14th, that is just way too long.

Obviously the first one wasn't stable. I always wait 3 days to make sure stable is stable...

when stable came server f***ed up
and wouldnt update to latest version
