Full Version: I pay for help ... "httpd.conf" file ..URGENT!!

Please be so kind to read the last message I posted here.
I edited the "httpd.conf" file to allow CGI scripts to be executable in any directory ... now none of my Web sites come up (before and after reboot).

All RackShack had to say abiut this -- in response to my trouble ticket:
"sorry, we do not support this. you void your support by editing httpd.conf.
the only thing we can offer for a resolution is a restore. "

I have several clients on that server and cannot simply delete their accounts. Can anyonbe help????

We can help but we need more details. When you restart apache from the command line what errors do you get?

Last night another poster here, Michael Moncur, did an absolutely outstanding job in helping me manage teh situation. With his help I could survive ... solve it. It's all posted at:
