I would like to ask you guys if you are happy with the server performance under heavy traffic.
I am setting up a matchmaker site very much like matchmaker.com.
The software will be PHP based using MySQL and I will also have a Java chatroom running.
I do not know how the server will hold up as I get more and more users and I need a ballpark idea.
Please advise?

I run numerous php/mySQL sites that are quite busy (I won't divilge the exact info) but I have never come across a problem with the server performance with repect to that.
