One of my site log file is greater than 2GB, and it stop updating. I should trim the file size and update the stats manually. Could anybody tell me how to do step by step? thanks a lot.

Just set your log rotate to occur more often maybe you need daily rotations.

I believe he is talking about the domlogs - which as far as I can tell don't get rotated until the end of the month.
