I am looking for a way to install mod_proxy in Apache without destroying the CPanel stuff? Any suggestions?
Kind regards,

Hello,
You need to recompile the cpanel kernel and enable it. Which means you need to modify the buildapache script.
hope that helps, if you can not compile. Email me at

. If i am free, i might be able to help you.

I tried that approach. It did not work. Most probably because I did something wrong. :-)
However I solved the problem (after hours) by compiling the module sources and changing a few things in httpd.conf.
Thank your for your fast response.
Sergio
