I want to insttall a certificate on my Plesk6 server. Ev1servers tell me I need a seperate ip for this. Is this true and if so why? I can currently access different domains on my server by putiiing https in front and this seems to work.

So i got and added an additional IP in Plesk. Made it exclusive and the DNS now points to the new IP.
Why can I not see my site now.

Seems like I need to let DNS propagagte. Is this true?
Nope. DNS has propagated but still no site on http or https.

Have you updated the Setup of the website to point to the new IP?

Yes I did. I put in a trouble ticket and ev1servers said it was my firewall and that they had turned it off. It was working so I turned the firewall on and checked the firewall configuration and all seems OK. Don't really know why it wasn't working. Maybe I should have rebooted.
