purchased it for domain.com

when I goto https://www.domain.com I get a security pop-up that says "The name of the security certificate is invalid or does match the name of the site"

How can I make this certificate cover all domain prefixes to cover my subdomains and all.

Thanks
Penguin
Certificates are very specific in what they secure - if you purchased it for domain.com then that's all it will cover - not even www.domain.com or any subdomains. QuickSSL certificates, although fully functional and have nothing wrong with them are only designed for this. If you want to cover additional subdomains under the same certificate then you'll need to purchase a wildcard certificatre which will cost you about 10 times more. I'm not sure if EV1 sell these either - you'd have to speak to sales about that, although we can obtain them or point you in the right direction of some companies that do if you want

ev1 doesn't sell them, however you can purchase directly from many certificate authorities that do. Expect to sell a kidney.

Who sale the cheapest wildcard certificate?
Penguin
To give you an idea of the price on them, we can get them via our TuCows reseller account at a cost price to us of $449 for 1 year, although you shouldn;t have much problem finding a bulk reseller doing them more cheaply than this if they're selling a decent amount of them, but unless you really do have a large number of subdomains to secure the you're probably better off just purchasing a few individual certificates
LighthousePoint
I can get them for around $200... Still expensive, tho.
