I'm running RedHat 7.3, with the latest stable cPanel and I am confused about the options relating to the end of support for 7.3. Will I still be able to run it? If so, how can I get updates, etc? Are other people sticking with 7.3 or is everyone migrating to 9?

Well 9 EOL's in may soo your going to have to do something anyways. Its looking like we might get progney to keep the older rh update, such as 7.3, so for now I would stick with it. Sure nothing is going to be updated but for a few weeks barring anything huge coming out your fine. RH enterprise also looks like a good option.

I would stay stick with 7.x for now and see what upgrade routes we are given. Hopefully should know in a week or two and get definate answers.

Well, EOL of RH 9 is also in March or April 2004. It's only 3 or 4 months longer. I would wait till ther's more about RHEL here on EV1. I saw a post that plain RH could be upgraded Jan or Feb. If you have Cpanel server then it would be 1st quarter 04.

Unless you want an insecure system for 4 months, i'd reccomend upgrading to RH9

Hmm, that's true again...
