Add a normal account then goto reseller management and just add the user as a reseller. The ev1servers page has some good how-to's that you would probably benefit from if your having trouble with some basic stuff like resellers.

After you giver reseller privs to a user make sure you go back and change ownership of his account from root to his own reseller account!

What does this do and why is it necessary?

Let say you create an account MyReseller1 at domain rs1.com

You give that account 100MB space and 1GB transfer

Now you go on to give that account reseller right with 500MB and 5GB.

So far at this point his 100MB/1GB in his personal account DOES NOT count against his reseller space and he CANNOT execrise the reseller control over that account.

Then you go into WHM and change ownership of the MyReseller1 (rs1.com) to his reseller account.

NOW the account does belong to the reseller. The resources are chanrged against his reseller limits and he can exercise reseller control over the account.

Thanks for the answer, David!

Welcome. I am in the same boat as most users. We are all learning as we go. Each of us catch onto one or two things quicker. The plan is for us all to share with the others the things we figure out first! icon_smile.gif

Of course, as far as I understand anyway, the end user would create a major problem if they deleted their primary account. I am currently not offering hosting to others, as I'm still learning, but if I do in the future I think that I will probably just offer the additional package allowances as a bonus (honestly, most of them aren't going to use that much in resources anyway and you still limit it) and then market that as an advantage over others (ie your site doesn't take away from your reseller limits, etc.).

Of course, it always possible if not likely that I have misunderstood something?

Thanks and Happy Holidays all.
