I was messing around with trying to get BIND working on my server and for some reason I thought I would change the hostname (I was at my wits end with BIND, which results in stupid moves). This resulted in the following error.

QUOTE
The Cpanel Key Server said returned 500 Request Denied - No license entry found for your machine (66.98.214.x)! X-DES-KEY: generate error Invalid Lisc File

So besides the error, I also noticed that it is talking about my 2nd IP (don't know if that is relivant or not).

Looking for a kick in the right direction..

Thanks

same error here =(

please help!!

run /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt as root

Jee
eth00
If its talking about your 2nd ip something is alittle wierd, double check using "ifconfig" that is in fact not using eth0 but eth0:1.

If it is using the primary ip, eth0, and that script does not work contact ev1 and put in a TT. There sometimes are problems with the license expiring.

Working again.. Thanks guys.. I'll post what I did for the benefit of searchers and Ben.

When I'd run /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt as root I'd get roughly the same error. I went and reloaded

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup eth0
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup eth0:0
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup eth0:1

Then checked the cp key. All was working.

Thanks for the help guys.
