Hi there - Just got a new server and thought that I would try the Cpanel to Cpanel tool on an individual basis with some domains. It *seemed* to work really well, but after the transfer a couple of weird things with some domains:
1) The size of the copied account was much lager than it should be - each time going over the quota limit. Removing some obvious directorie such as "/tmp" reduced it slightly, but not enough. Cpanel still says that the account is over it's limit, but from SSH when I do a "du -hs" it comes up with a lower amount.
2) It copies over all the email accounts in the "mail" directory, but doesn't install them into Cpanel
Would appreciate any advice on what to do about the above
Thanks
John

For the first problem, I would suspect it may have something to do with the quotas coming out of alignment. So run (from root SSH) /scripts/fixquotas to see if that helps.
Second problem, I would guess it may be file permission related. Have you tried the "Fix/Rebuild Mailboxes" from the root WHM control panel?

hi there and thanks for the reply.
It seems as if the quotas are fixed now - I had to remove the backups which appeared to be causing the problems. One of my accounts that is only 10mb was 193mb because the backups were being counted too I think
On the emails though, it is a strange one - all the accounts are there within the /home/account_name/mail directory but they are not showing up in Cpanel. I tried to fix in WHM but that didn't a) see them or b) work. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for the help so far
John
