Yes in the main settings there is the option for the main shared IP: Change it to the IP you wish to use. I don't think this will change over existing sites however, only new sites.

Well yes but you'll need to change every site manually.
Why do you want to change all your sites to a new IP anyways?
Unless it's the main shared IP, each site can only use 1 IP.

because my main IP is firewalled out due attacks
i tried going to the change site's ip address but hwenever i change any website to that new Ip i placed in the shared IPs its gone for that website and i can't use it as shared or for another website!
how to avoid this?

Read my post below....
1) Change the server main shared IP in WHM Setup
From IP A to IP B
2) While still in WHM go to Change Site IP option
3) Select the NEW main shared IP eg: IP B
That should do it.......

Hmm sorry I thought that would have worked. I guess WHM is assigning it as a dedicated IP instead of a shared even though it is.
The only option I can see now is to edit the httpd.conf file manually and change sites IP addresses and the NameVirtual setting.
