Does anybody out there happen to have PSA 6.0.2 on RedHat 7.3 with a working Mailman? My mailman seems to have a configuration problem (it was an early 6.0.2 upgrade). Files are in the wrong place and I can't seem to get anybody at SWSoft to help out. Well I should say unless I want to pay them for support. LOL RS doesn't support upgrades of course. The paths on my upgrade install are all wrong...looks like a standard RH install, not a Plesk configured one.

Here's what I need if anybody can help out.

The Mailman RPM package from a 6.0.2 upgrade running on Redhat 7.3. If you have that system setup and your mailman is working, the RPM should be located at /root/psa/PSA_6.0.2/RH7.3_std.updates in a file called mailman-2.0.13-1.i386.rpm

I'd certainly appreciate it if someone can make that available so that I can get this fixed.

Thanks!

The rpm can be located anywhere on your system, you must install it. Once you install the mailman package you must login to Plesk, go to Server->Maillist config and set a password for mailman administrator. Then you will be able to use it.

Sorry, but you missed the point entirely 4PSA. Though thanks for the response.

Mailman is installed. I can create a maillist. Problem is that the "confirmation" emails never make it back to mailman because the config has it looking for stuff at the standard RH 7.3 location instead of the PSA location.

Bottom line...the very first original PSA 6.0.2 Mailman RPM install was buggy. They won't give me just that file so that I can correct it. RS won't because it's an "upgrade" issue.

Can I wipe a dummy unit here, put RH 7.3 on it and install 6.0.2 to get the file I need? Sure. That's the next step.

I'll do that before I pay SWSoft But if I have to go through that just to get something which SHOULD have worked or at least should be supported by either RS or SWSoft, let's just say that I'm not going to be a happy camper.

Bottom line is I'm not paying SWSoft $75 to fix a problem with their own upgrade simply because the key license is owned by RS. They can both play each side against the middle all they want, but I don't play that game. I simiply take my business elsewhere.

That's just a very, very silly business position for both companies to take as easy as the solution is.

Did you apply the hot fix that came with the 6.0.1 patch?
