I was wondering if it would make sense to create some kind of 'jobs pool' or 'jobs forum' for everybody at RS to:
* post jobs
* provide services

I often have very specific needs, e.g. right now I'd like to get a firewall installed, before that I spend time finding the best backup solution etc.
Of course I can/could figure it out somehow sooner or later and there are excellent howtos out there. Still I rather would give such a job to somebody with a proven record (e.g. to somebody who wrote a howto) and pay some $$:
* to save time
* to have somebody verifying everything I did/do.
* to have it done 100% right.

any ideas?

That could cause problems. If someone offers to do something for a fee and they don't do it right or destroy something....
There would definitely have to be a disclaimer that was stickied,
something that says "Rackshack is not responsible for validity of anything offered".

Why are people always trying to get this place turned into WHT? The forums are fine the way they are. They do what they are meant to do, and they do it very well. Nothing more is required.
