I have RH 7.3 on my server and I'd like to upgrade Apache from 1.3.x to 2.x. It is possible without having troubles with Plesk (I upgraded it to 6)? If yes, How?

There is no possible to upgrade apache to 2.0 on a RedHat 7.x box. Plesk will not work with it.

ok, thanks a lot. So another question, can I re-compile Apache 1.3.x with Plesk already installed? Is there any way to do it? I got to increase hard_server_limit...

Hey Bogdan -
Will you be putting out a release compiled with the latest 1.3.29 bug/secuity fixes from Apache?

apache-1.3.27-3 is the latest version. All bug fixes, etc are patched by Redhat in apache-1.3.27-3.

Yeah I think you'll find the latest redhat apache release1.3.27-3 only fixed older bugs and security issues. New issues have since come to light since then and have been patched in 1.2.9. I'm waiting for Redhat to issue a new patch or someone to release an RPM built off 1.2.9.
