Hi,
I have apf 0.9.1-rev10
i've just edited the conf.apf file with this:
IG_TCP_CPORTS="21,22,25,53,80,443,110,143,19638"
IG_UDP_CPORTS="53"
I'm trying to access the ftp server but i can only reach it with apf stoped
netstat from the client machine shoes this
tcp 0 1 192.168.1.5:36623 server IP addr:21 SYN_SENT 4402/ftp
can anyone point direction on where to edit?
thanx

if you are using passive ftp you will need to and port 20
also I have
TCP_CPORTS not IG_TCP_CPORTS but maybe that's a version issue

I've tried that but results are the same, also
TCP_CPORTS was used in previous versions
still blocked....

Yep, thats it
but from the netstat of the client shoes that they start by going to port 21
I'm not sure, but i think port 20 is for data-transfers
